Jasmine Davis, LMSW, a licensed therapist and mindfulness coach based in Texas. Jasmine currently practices under the clinical supervision of Jennifer Vasquez, LCSW-S, at Inspired Practice LLC.
She works alongside youth and adults, as well as families, who are navigating trauma, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Her approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, and she draws from evidence-based tools such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices in ways that are flexible, collaborative, and responsive to each person’s unique needs.
Jasmine’s work as a therapist is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. Having navigated parental incarceration and her own healing journey, she understands how deeply life experiences and systemic barriers can impact emotional well-being over time. Therapy was a meaningful and supportive resource in her own life, helping her to build self-awareness, resilience, and compassion for myself. Jasmine strives to offer a brave and supportive space where her clients feel safe to show up as they are.
Jasmine believes her clients are the experts of their own experiences and walk alongside them—offering guidance, tools, and support at a pace that feels right. She often works with individuals and families who have experienced trauma, homelessness, or involvement with the criminal justice system, and my academic interests, including research on the long-term effects of parental incarceration, reflect my commitment to understanding these experiences within broader social and systemic contexts.
Mindfulness is an important part of her work. She integrates mindfulness practices into therapy to support emotional regulation, stress management, and greater self-connection, and has facilitated mindfulness groups and shared this work through presentations with universities and community organizations in the Austin area.
